6 years ago in April, Valley Vetcare opened its doors for the first time and from pretty humble beginnings the practice has flourished and grown mainly due to the amazing staff that work here. It has been a testing few weeks for everyone but I am so proud of what they have achieved to continue to support our clients and their pets.

We couldn’t celebrate our birthday much as it was important that people stayed at home and we protected our community and the NHS. However, our clients supported us in difficult times and we have had to do the same for them now.
We are providing urgent and emergency care as it is required, assessing each case, deciding how we can treat the pet concerned, whether it is remotely or through direct care maintaining social distancing.
We have had to work in teams, change our hours to cope, and change the very way we consult and deal with the pets to provide that care and we appreciate the patience our clients have had. It has been both challenging and rewarding.
From the 11th May we are expanding the opening hours from 8.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday and Saturday 9.00am to 1.00pm. It will be hard but the team are committed to you and your pet.
