Rosalind joined Valley Vetcare in 2016 and is currently re-training to be a qualified veterinary nurse after a period out of practice. She lives on a small holding and with the help of her husband Kedric and two children Carl and Ian, they look after their 2 goats, a collection of hens and ducks and a little rescue cat called Pearl! In her free time she is learning to play the cornet when she is not running the boys to band practice!!
Lydia is our Head Registered Veterinary Nurse and Clinical Manager. She qualified in 1987 having trained at Staffordshire College of Agriculture. Since then she has worked in several practices including large and small animal, and is an exceptionally experienced nurse. Her main interests are behaviour and nutrition, although she really enjoys all aspects of nursing and aims at the highest level of animal care and empathic treatment. As a clinical coach she oversees the training of the students and is responsible for all aspects of hospital clinical management. She has previously lectured and worked in varying charity and emergency clinics. In her spare time she looks after her Irish Sport horse Jaffa, a small flock of Lonk sheep, some chickens, Cap the border collie and a terrier called Tammy.
Fionnuala is one of our qualified nurses having graduated with flying colours. Fi says she was interested in veterinary nursing from a young age and has a great love of animals. She has a 7 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel called Rascal and in her spare time (when she has it outside her studying!!) likes horse riding especially show jumping and dressage. She likes travelling and has had a recent big trip around North America.
